This instrument is used to determine the charge properties of various emulsified asphalt particle ions, that is, the types of cations and anions. The particle ion charge of emulsified asphalt refers to the charge properties of the particles dispersed in the emulsion to determine the type of emulsion. Positively charged (+) is cationic emulsified asphalt, and negatively charged (-) is anionic emulsified asphalt. This instrument inserts electrodes into the asphalt emulsion, applies a DC 6V electric field, and judges the particle ion charge polarity of the emulsified asphalt according to the movement and attachment of ions.
